This was a Public Relations Strategies and Campaigns project in which Donna Styron, McKenzie Blaine, Angela Biggs and I created a campaign for the St. Augustine chapter of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida. The purpose of the campaign was to reach the community and urge its members to volunteer and donate to the positive organization. We tactfully built the campaign around our strong theme, "Providing a place to grow, learn and build a brighter future." My responsibilities included clearly displaying the tactics of the campaign, writing the "Evening in Wine Country," news release, forming the questions asked during both our interview with the chapter leaders as well as with the children of the club. I also wrote the final evaluation of our campaign. Recently, the club contacted our group to ask permission to use our "My Dream," video that Donna and I shot. It is now accessible on the club's main site! We are so thrilled to have our work displayed to the public and help the Boys and Girls Club better reach the community.
